Maybe you need a place just for you - to show up, be seen, live brave and talk about what is getting in the way of your health, happiness and success . Maybe you are looking for skills and tools to help you better manage old behaviors that you have developed over time for very good reason, but that may now no longer serve you.
Whatever the cause of your discomfort, therapy can be an opportunity to explore your past, present and future in a safe environment with a skilled therapist educated and trained to help relieve or heal the cause of your pain or discomfort.

I have a masters degree and license in marriage, family therapy that qualifies me to work with individuals, couples and families and I work well with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, dysfunctional family dynamics and those looking to increase happiness, hopefulness and resilience in their lives.
I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for the treatment of trauma, a Certified Addictions Counselor III for the treatment of substance abuse and addiction, certified with specialized training by The Gottman Institute in couples counseling, I am a Daring Greatly™ and Rising Strong™ Facilitator - certified in the work of Dr. Brene' Brown, and training in TEAM CBT an exciting new cognitive behavioral approach demonstrating remarkable results and providing strategic focus.
I am amazed by the discoveries in neuroscience over the past fifteen years and I utilize these very effective learnings in my practice to better manage the often overwhelming complexity of our lives.
And finally, I will add that I am open to, and incorporate, any therapy, theory or practice that I believe will be advantageous to my clients - there is lots of good work out there.
